Evelyn A. Hendricks, 87, wife of Folger (Bill) Hendricks, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A life-long resident of Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Margaret Smith Nations. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Sangamo in West Union.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Jerry Hendricks and wife Elaine of Central; daughters, Willene Townsend and husband Bob of Central, Brenda Trammell and husband Frank, Jr. of Newberry; brother, Q.R. Nations of Central; sisters, Bernice Marchbanks of Easley and Imogene Moore of Central, grandchildren, Jeffrey Hendricks, Kim Rogers, Tabitha Townsend, Melissa Taylor, Bobbilynn Bowman, Beranda Trammell, Bradley Trammell; great-grandchildren, Jessica McAnulty, Eddie McAnulty, Brady Crane, Ebony Ellis, Leanna Taylor, Alexus Ellis, Britton Taylor, Trey Bowman and Isabella Rogers; great-great-grandchildren, Alex McBryde and Lexi O�??Kelley. She was predeceased by a son, Eugene (Gene) Hendricks of Central and several brothers and sister

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3pm in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home on Saturday from 6-9pm. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 3041 Six Mile Highway, Central, SC 29630. The family will be at the residence, 836 Smith Memorial Highway, Central, SC 29630.
