Evelyn Burruss Sailors, 77, of 100-B Park Crossing Drive, died Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Rainey Hospice House.
Mrs. Sailors was born in Richmond, Virginia, a daughter of the late Rudolph Arnett and Beatrice Victoria Compton Burruss.She retired from the First National Bank in Baltimore, Maryland and more recently was a homemaker. She was a Jehovah's Witness.
Surviving are her son, Derek Sailors and his wife, Maureen, of Fairfield, Pennsylvania ; a daughter, Celeste Huff and her husband, Barry, of Indiana ; step-daughters, Donna Hutchins and her husband, Richard, of Savannah, Georgia and Barbara Manke and her husband, Carl, of Liberty, SC ; a sister, Barbara Hooper and her husband, Otis, of Virginia ; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, with Mr. Markus Garcia officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.
The family is at the home of Barbara and Carl manke, 134 B&K Drive, Liberty, SC.
