Evelyn Kullgren Swirles, 74, wife of Thomas Swirles, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at McCall Hospice House.
Born in Wayne County, MI, a daughter of the late Albin and Helmi Mattson Kullgren, Mrs. Swirles worked in retail for most of her life and was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of forty-nine years, are a son, Barry Swirles; a daughter, Jill Webb (Kerry); grandchildren, Ryan and Abby Swirles, and Taylor and Madison Webb. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Swirles was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Kullgren and a sister, Betty Stebbins.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:45 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Piedmont Hospice, 106 Metro Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
