Everard Martinez, Jr. 84, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Martinez was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the son of the late Everardo and Louise Isles Martinez. He graduated from Salisbury State University, was a retired engineer with NCR, and was also retired from the U. S. Air Force, and attended NewSpring Church.
Surviving are his wife, Shelva Jean Lang; three sons, John (Barbara) Martinez of Easley, Jay (Chris) Martinez of Greenville, and Jeff (Gina) Martinez of Simpsonville; a daughter Jacqueline (Jay) Mills of Comer, GA; two step daughters, Patricia (Marty) Crossley of Anderson, and Carol Carlson of Piedmont; two sisters Maria Moyer of Boston, MA and Lola Weber of Chalfont, PA; eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Marvel Martinez.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Rd, with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 250 Commonwealth Dr. Suite 105, Greenville, SC 29615.
