Everett Jennings Fisher, 77, of 374 Mountain View Drive, died Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the Hospice House of Anderson.
Born in Brevard, NC, he was a son of the late Obie Simpson and Leota Elizabeth Coren Fisher. He was a Veteran of the US Army and was retired from Jacob's Manufacturing in Clemson. He was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Smith Fisher of the home; a son, Everett Rickey Fisher of Walhalla; a daughter, Dianne Cox of Seneca; three step-sons, Paul McAlister of Pendleton, Keith McAlister of Norris, Freddie McAlister of Easley; one brother, one half-brother, two sisters, two half-sisters, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Donnev Fisher.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate; 1835 Rogers Road; Anderson, SC 29621.
The family is at the home.
