Mr. Everett Donald "Don" Steed, Jr., 60, husband of Holly Marie Green Steed, passed away Wednesday, July 30 2014 at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown.
Born in Alliance, OH, a son of Josephine "Joy" Blaylock Steed and the late Everett Donald Steed, Sr., Mr. Steed was employed with Danfoss and was a member of Glenwood Baptist Chuch.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of forty-one years, are two sons, Jason Donald Steed (Michelle) of Easley, and John Allan Steed (Kim) of Central; two grandsons, Devin and Gage Steed; his step-father, Joseph Steed; a brother, David Steed of Ravenna, OH; and four sisters, Donna Kulon (Bob), Marilyn Mayle (Mike), Joyce Jones (Dave), and Marsha Thomas (Bob), all of Ravenna, OH. In addition to his father, Mr. Steed was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn S. McElwain.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Glenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday at the church, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glenwood Baptist Church Building Fund, 325 Saco Lowell Road, Easley, SC 29640.
