Everette Davis Keller

Everette D. Keller, 76, of 509 Bonanza Circle, and husband of Kathie Speicher Keller, passed away Thursday September 12, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Keller was born December 21, 1936 in Ringgold, Virginia, the son of the late Rufus and Opal Young Keller. Mr. Keller attended Dan River High School and left in the tenth grade for the military where he finished his formal schooling. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Europe for 3 � years with the 11th Airborne and the 101st Airborne Division upon returning stateside. Mr. Keller came to Easley in 1976 to help open the first Lowes store and afterward went to work for Michelin where he retired as a senior test driver. Later, he graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage and was a massage therapist on Laurens Rd., before opening a health and vitamin store (Gesundheit Natural Health) in Simpsonville. He attended Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of twenty nine years, are four sons, James Keller, Avery Keller, Everette "E.P." Keller and Kenneth Keller; two daughters, Cindy Ayers and Peggy Kinard; brothers, Jack Keller and Charles Keller, sisters, Aileen Gentry and Elizabeth Walker; and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Alton Keller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 15, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
