Faith Diane McDonald, loving wife and best friend to Robert A. McDonald, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Diane had a true servant's heart, always giving more and loving more than you could ever do for her. She has left her unforgettable imprint on so many lives and we were so blessed to have such a wonderful lady whose shoes cannot be filled. She will be a special part of us now and forever.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter to the late Willie Bryant and the late Dorothea Dickerson Towe. Diane was also beloved granddaughter of the late Julia Ballew Dickerson. She was a graduate of Carolina High, class of '67 and formerly attended Standing Springs Baptist Church and recently attended Upstate Church, both in Simpsonville.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a brother, Donnie Towe of Simpsonville; and sisters, Jean Pitts of Fountain Inn, Joyce Williams of Greenville, Linda Riddle of Pickens, and Brenda Hope of Artesia, NM; aunts, Patricia D. Compton (Dick) of Greenville and Ann D. Cash of Florence; her dog, Kasey; and cats, Stuart and Zoe.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
