Fannie Clark Pace, 92, of Easley, beloved wife of the Late WT Pace, passed peacefully into the arms of her loving Lord and Savior Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Bryan and Eunice Atkins Clark.
Mrs. Pace was born on September 7, 1925 and grew up in the Blue Ridge View community of Pickens. She loved the church, the land and its people. She was retired from Dacusville Elementary and was known for her sweet spirit, wit and for her willingness to help others at any time or reason. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and was a gentle woman who spoke more by her example than her words. Mrs. Pace cherished her relationship with her Lord and Savior and she truly exemplified the servant attitude with everyone she encountered and in all her actions. She was a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church where she was a true servant of God. She taught Sunday School, the Mother's Sunday School Class, VBS, served as chair of the bereavement committee, was the WMU President, member of the choir and supported the church in anyway and where there was a need.
Mrs. Pace is survived by four daughters, Erlene Bryant of Easley, Evelyn Copeland (Don) of Greenville, Linda Norris (Brad) of Easley and Debbie Bracken of Easley, two sons, Jerry Pace and Wayne Pace (Marie) all of Easley; two sisters, Verna Abercrombie and Bert Day; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pace was predeceased by a sister, Jeannette Clark Riggins, a brother, Walter Clark, and a daughter-in-law Rita, Simmons Pace.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Pace's life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the building fund of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church, 745 Wolf Creek Road, Pickens, SC 29671.
The family will be at their respective homes.
