Farrell Blenn Brown, husband to Ann, died on July 23, 2023. Farrell was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 29th, 1934, in Mt. Ulla, NC to the late William Blenn and Helen Karriker Brown.

He was later promoted to Associate Dean of the Graduate School and remained there until his retirement in 1997 when he was granted Emeritus Faculty status.
Farrell loved golf, Bridge and landscaping and was a tireless volunteer at University Lutheran Church serving on the Church Council and many committees. In lieu of flowers and as a friend to all dogs, especially his beloved Dachshunds, Farrell wished to give voice to the voiceless ones of God’s creations. Memorials can be made to the local Humane Society, ASPCA and Clemson Paw Partners.
