Faye Martin Garrison, 95, widow of Samuel Albert Garrison, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Seneca Health & Rehab. She was the daughter of the late Edward Austin and Irene Rogers Martin. She was a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in Sandy Springs.
She is survived by a son, Richard M Garrison and his wife Cindy of Sandy Springs; daughters, Barbara G. Martin of Clemson and Margaret G. Brock of Westminster; sister, Martha M. Curtis of Central; and grandchildren: Lynn M. Ridgeway, Roy Martin, Kenny Martin, Tracey Martin, Lisa B. Wright, Greg Brock, Angie G. Rodgers, Mark Garrison, Todd Garrison, Zachary Garrison and Christopher Garrison and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sons: Henry Austin Garrison and Larry Albert Garrison; brothers: Mac, Jim, E.A., Thomas, Bill and Calvin Martin; sisters Edith M. Newton, Stroba M. James, Elizabeth M. Crawford and Mary Martin.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home at 4pm Friday. The family will receive friends following the service. There will be a family burial prior to the service at 3pm at Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672 or Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, PO Box 429, Sandy Springs, SC 29677.
