Florence Elizabeth Campbell Gilliam, wife of the late Louis Gilliam, passed away March 2, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Travelers Rest, she was the daughter of the late Colenzo Kerr Campbell and Adell Payne Campbell. She worked as secretary at East Gantt Elementary School and served as church secretary at Bethuel Baptist Church where she was a faithful member for many years. She was an active member of West Gantt First Baptist Church. An expert seamstress and quilter, Florence enjoyed using her skills for her family, friends and church.

She is survived by daughter, Marlene Smith (Rollis) of Simpsonville, son, Wayne Gilliam (Jackie) of Louisville, KY and daughter, Dana Rhinehart (John) of Easley; 8 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Woodrow F. Campbell and Clenzo K. Campbell.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, March 5, 2017 at West Gantt First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:15 PM Sunday at the church, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Dana and John Rhinehart.
