Florence Oliver Jennings, 76, of 109 West "E" Ave., died Tuesday, May 05, 2009 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Blantyle, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Liner Meree Oliver. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress.
Mrs. Jennings is survived by two sons,Toby Leonard of Raleigh, NC, and Lloyd Alton Winchester of Marietta, SC; four daughters, Rebecca Gail Gentry of Laurel Elm, TX, Cindy Ceitch of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Janelle Underwood of Liberty, SC and Sharon Harris of Easley, SC; one brother, J.P. Oliver of Tryon, NC; eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jennings is predeceased by her husband Alvin Jennings ; a son, Tommy O. Stamey and a daughter, Debra Jean Stamey.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, with burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery - West, Greenville, SC.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
The family is at the home of a granddaughter, Jasmine Winchester, at 101 Wallace Drive, Apt-G101, Easley, SC.
