Florence K. Sharp

Florence King Sharp, 88, formerly of 830 Crouch Drive and widow of Frank A. Sharp, died Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Verbena, AL, she was a daughter of the late Henry Lee and Florence Bowers Johnson King. She was a lab technician with Milliken Company and the USDA and retired as the secretary for Bob Bradley in the Sports Information Department at Clemson University. Florence was a long time member of Pendleton Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one son, Richard King Limburg of Erie, PA; two daughters, Nancy S. Ellison and husband, W. Grady and Jan S. Woodson and husband, James R. all of Anderson; two brothers, Henry L. King, Jr. of Clinton, IN; and John Tyler King of New Rhodes, LA; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, William H. Limburg, Jr; and a son, Robert Frank Sharp.
Graveside services will be held at 4 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2011 in the Pendleton Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Morton White officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
The family will be at the home of James R. and Jan S. Woodson, 2505 Saxony Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
