Florence Brownlow White

Florence Brownlow White, 87, wife of the late Morris Eugene "Gene" White, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022.

Born in Liverpool, England, a daughter of the late Ernest Brownlow and the late Margaret Clarke Brownlow, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed painting, gardening, knitting, sewing, bowling, ceramics, cooking, and taking care of her family. She was a co-founder of White's Appliance, Inc.in Easley and she was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons, Keith White (Vanessa) of Easley, Ray White (Sandy) of Easley, and Alan White (Marinda) of Piedmont; a daughter, Karen Palm (David) of Powdersville; sisters, Eileen McCulley of Liverpool, England and Margaret Goodwin of Denver, NC; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Barry White; a brother, Ernie Brownlow; a sister, Marie Gilmartin; and a granddaughter, Cherie White.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
