Florene Hudson Cobb, 85, formerly of Dogwood Lane, wife of the late Roy M. Cobb, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Guy and Della Moore Hudson, Mrs. Cobb retired as a dental assistant for Dr. D.H. Brown of Liberty and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Greg M. Cobb of Easley and Tony Cobb of Pickens; a daughter, Patsy Porter of Pickens; three brothers, Edward Hudson, Carroll Hudson and Jerry Hudson, all of Pickens; three sisters, Jean Tinsley, Florence Childress and Judy Stokes, all of Easley; and three grandchildren, Patricia Porter, James Porter and Trent Cobb. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cobb was predeceased by a brother, David Elwyn Hudson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 1:45 PM Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
