Mrs. Floycie Carroll Holliday, 97, wife of the late Woodrow W. Holliday, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Born in Jackson County, NC, a daughter of the late Rufus Newton and Emma Bryson Carroll, Mrs. Holliday retired from Easley Textiles and was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Jason Holliday (Jean) of Liberty, and Rabon Holliday (Eleanor) of Easley; two daughters-in-law, Peggy and Lynda Holliday; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Holliday was predeceased by a daughter, Judy Holliday; two sons, Preston Holliday and James Holliday; two brothers, John Carroll and James Warren Carroll; and a sister, Joycie Merck.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in the Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
