Floyd Lee Combs

Floyd Lee Combs, 85, died at home on September 5, 2024. His cause of death was prostate cancer and its complications.

Born in Shafter, CA, he was the son of the late Helen Mayer Combs and Alpha Franklin Combs. Floyd earned a Batchelor of Science in Engineering from Arizona State University and a Master of Engineering from The University of Florida. He worked as a multi-disciplined engineer that afford him the opportunity to work nationally and internationally. 

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Wayne Combs, younger brothers, Bradley Lee Combs, Dee Leon Combs and sister, LyLan Combs Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Cheryl Kearse Combs; granddaughter, Gabriel Lauren Combs; nieces, Lorraine Combs Schessler, Lindsey Combs Mahaffey, and Jasmine Mitchell Lyle; nephews, Todd Combs, Parker Combs, Taylor Combs, and Robert Mitchell; grandnephews, Dylan Combs and Benjamin Combs.
