Forrest Dexter Bradford, 63, of Clemson, SC, husband of Daveeda Gearin Bradford, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC of early onset Alzheimer's.

Born in Humboldt, TN, he was a son of the late Aubrey and Mattie Sylbie Cates Bradford.  He was a graduate of University of Tennessee-Martin.  He was a retired consulting engineer traveling extensively during his 35 year professional career in Nuclear Power.  He was a former resident of Bradford, Tennessee where he was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church in McKenzie, TN.  He enjoyed car racing and built Hot Rods and really enjoyed traveling.  Dexter was always known for his gentle loving spirit.  He always put God first in every aspect of his life.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Gabriel D. (Jenny) Bradford of Clemson, SC; brother, Nolan Bradford of Bradford, TN; and grandchildren, Mattie and Nori Bradford.

Dexter will be taken to Hunt Funeral Home in Bradford, Tennessee where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday and a funeral service will be 2 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service will be Dustin Waters, Donnie Gearin, Jimmy Gearin, Michael Arant, Jarrod Rhodes and George Dawson.
