Frances Elizabeth Masters Bigby

Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Masters Bigby, 74 of 115 Henderson Street, Pickens, loving wife of Jesse Bigby, Jr., went home to be with her savior on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens.
Mrs. Bigby was born on October 5, 1940 in Oconee County to the late Dewey and Ina Cannon Masters. She graduated from Tamassee DAR School, and attended Tri-County Technical College. She retired from the Pickens County DSN Board and enjoyed flowers and crafts. Frances was a member of Tremont Church of God, where, until her health declined, she was a member of the Helping Hands Sunday School Class, and active in the Prayer Band, Shut-In Ministry, and the Christmas Play.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son; Billy Ellenburg and his wife Kietha of Pickens; three daughters; Pat Hedden and her husband Bud of Highlands, NC; Sue Ramey and her husband Mack of Six Mile; and Donna Cox of Pickens; a brother; Carl Masters and his wife Beverly of Mint Hill, NC; and a sister; Geneva Masters of Taylorsville, NC. Frances is also survived by seven grandchildren; Will Hedden, Sara Hedden, Travis Ramey, Christy Tubik, Chris Ellenburg, Jennifer Acosta, and Katie Cox; and six great-grandchildren; Emily, ALlie, Luke, Rebecca, Carly, and Ruby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; George Masters; and a sister; Geraldine Bell.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Rev. Wilson Kilgore, Rev. Gary Cannon, and Rev. Tim Kerns officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the Funeral Home.

The family wishes to send a special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Cannon Memorial Hospital, along with Thomas Smith with the Pickens County Rescue Squad, for all their help, care, and comfort to them during their time of sickness and the loss of Mrs. Bigby.
