FRANCES H. BLAIR White Rock
Frances Hall Blair, 85, formerly of Clemson, wife of the late Clyde Hammett Blair, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Born in Clemson she was the daughter of the late Clarence Monroe and Kathleen Miller Hall. She was a member of the Clemson United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Winthrop College. Mrs. Blair retired from the Registrar's Office of Clemson University in 1988.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Susie and Larry Brogdon of Marble Hill, GA and Kathy and Hal Worthy of Chapin, SC; sister Kathleen Barnett of Pomano Beach, FL and grandchildren: Lauren Brogdon Anderson (Brent), Tripp and Katie Worthy, great-grandchildren Sydney and Miller Anderson, and several nephews. Mrs. Blair was predeceased by brothers, Harvey Reston Hall and C.M. Hall and son, Clyde (Chip) Hammett Blair, Jr.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 2:00pm at Clemson United Methodist Church with visitation to follow the service. Memorials may be made to Clemson United Methodist Church Building Fund, 300 Frontage Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
