FRANCES T. BRANDT - Clemson
Frances Taylor Brandt, 94, widow of Graydon W. Brandt, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC. A native of Glouster, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ernest H. and Bessie Morgan Taylor. She retired from Clemson University after 18 years of service. She and her late husband were the first residents of the Clemson Downs Retirement Community. She was an active volunteer with the Downs and served a term as the Chairman o the Board of Directors of the Downs. She was an active member of the Clemson United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters Gretchen B. Robles and her husband Enrique of Vienna, VA and Sarah T. Brandt of Atlanta, GA. and grandchildren Rick and Meg Robles.
Funeral services will be 3pm Sunday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with interment to follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-3pm prior to the service.
Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
