Frances Eubanks Canup

Mrs. Frances Eubanks Canup, 81, wife of the late Charles Ray Canup, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at her home.
Born in Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Robert Plato Eubanks and the late Alma Russell Eubanks, Mrs. Canup was a graduate of Landrum High School. She was employed with TG&Y from 1971 -1985, Sheriff Appliance from 1985 - 1987 and Steinmart from 1987 - 2012. Frances was of the Baptist faith.
Frances always had a heart warming smile for everyone. She was the rock and head of her family, having taught her children and grandchildren how to make a home. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are a son, Charles M. Canup (Rose) of Concord, NC; two daughters, Cynthia C. Elrod, and Christa C. Prevatte (Philip), all of Easley; two brothers, Rev. David Eubanks (Kay) of Landrum, and Steve Eubanks (Jessica) of Mobile, AL; four sisters, Diane Heckman (Tim) of Landrum, Cathy Coleman of Wilmington, NC, Polly Partridge (Gary) of Easley and Sharon Foy of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, Hope Simmons of Baltimore, MD, Amber Cudy of Greenville, Daniel Elrod of Easley, Pamela Taylor (Benji) of Piedmont, Christine Canup of Concord, NC, Brea Wright (Jeremy) of Easley, Frances Canup Loren of Concord, NC and Fallon Swafford (Thomas) of Easley; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Canup was predeceased by a son, Jeffery R. Canup; a daughter, Janet C. Hunter; three brothers, Bud, John and Crip Eubanks; one sister, Linda Gail Eubanks; and one great-grandchild, Madison Burger.
Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. David Eubanks officiating. 305 West Main Street, Easley, SC 29640.
Escorts of Honor will be Will Crawford, Jeffrey Swafford, Thomas Swafford, Jeremy Wright, Daniel Elrod and Ethan Villalobos.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 5:45 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
