Frances Elizabeth Parrott "Lib" Childers, of Easley, wife of the late William "Bill" Childers, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at her home.

Born in Six Mile, SC, Mrs. Childers was a daughter of the late Barney and Addie Baker Parrott. She graduated with a master's degree in education from Clemson University, and had a passion for teaching and mentoring her second grade children for thirty years. She was a member of Easley First Baptist Church. Lib and Bill were avid Clemson fans, and enjoyed attending the football games together.

Surviving are a sister, Myrtle Stewart of Greenwood, SC, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Childers was predeceased by one sister, Lila P. Kelly; and four brothers, Polly, Wink, Roy, and Frank Parrott.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
