Frances Annie Epps Cope, 90, of 204 Pickens Street, died Friday, February 19, 2010, at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Mrs. Cope was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Frank and Bertie Mahaffey Epps. She retired from Woodside Mill and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church, where she belonged to the Golden Circle Sunday School Class.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Tommy Gardo and Linda and Pete Johnson, all of Easley; one sister, Ruthell Cape of Easley; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cope was predeceased by two brothers, Lewis Epps and Charles "Cotton" Epps.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Jones Avenue Baptist Church with the Revered Doctor Roger Couch officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Escort of Honor will be the Golden Circle Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Children and Youth Department of Jones Avenue Baptist Church, 614 Ross Avenue; Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at the home.
