Frances Lois Raines Crowe, 85, of 106 Barton Street, wife of the late Heyward M. Crowe, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010, at the McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville.
Born in Pickens County, Mrs. Crowe was a daughter of the late Zion H. and Leatha McJunkin Raines. She was a homemaker and a member of Glenwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Debbie Tompkins (David) of Easley; one brother, Arthur L. Raines of Easley; one sister, Mildred Aileen (Teeter) James of Easley; two grandchildren, Dawn Miller (Jeremy) and Dustin Tompkins; and two great-grandchildren, Haley and Natalie Miller. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Crowe was predeceased by three sisters, Kathleen Raines, Lou Ellen Gilstrap and Annie Whitman.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Glenwood Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday and will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM Monday.
The family is at the home of the daughter, 505 Blue Ridge Street; Easley, SC 29640.
Memorials may be made to the McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road; Simpsonville, SC 29680.
