Frances Dorsey Ellis, 91, of Easley, wife of the late James L. Ellis passed away Saturday January 30, 2016.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Rothell Dorsey.
Mrs. Ellis was the former owner and operator of Ellis Florist in Easley. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she taught the Preschool Sunday School Class for 35 years.
Surviving are a brother, Bill Dorsey of Liberty and two sisters, Dorothy McClellan of Liberty and Patsy Wood (Jim) of Easley.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Landrum Dorsey Ellis, four sisters and a brother.
Mrs. Ellis' favorite Bible verse was Romans 8:28
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will be at their respective homes.
