Frances Mildred Fricks, 73, wife of Charles T. Fricks, of 210 Pickens Street, died Wednesday, August 06, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
She was born in Transylvania County, NC, the daughter of the late Troy and Thelma Hyatt Owens. She was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church and a retired seamstress.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Larry Bryant of Easley; four daughters, Brenda Maw (Paul), Peggy Taylor, both of Liberty, Kathy Watts (Joel) of Easley, and Diane Fricks of Easley; three brothers, Aaron and Arlin Owens of Pickens and Franklin "Dee" Owens of Liberty; two sisters, Wanda Evatt of Sunset and Patsy Thompson of Quitman, Georgia; three grandchildren, Alisha Thompson (Eric), Steven Maw and Curtis Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Seth and Katelyn Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Bryant; three brothers, Jack, W.C. and Earl Owens and a sister, Linda Geoghagan.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 9, at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown at 3:00 pm, officiated by Reverend Doctor Roger Couch.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, prior to the service.
