Frances Joyner Gorsuch, 76, of Clemson, and wife of Clyde S. Gorsuch passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born February 6, 1946, in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of Raleigh and LaRue Alderman Joyner.
After receiving a bachelor's degree from Winthrop University Frances worked for the Division of Family & Children's Services in Georgia and The Department of Social Services in South Carolina. She enjoyed traveling, going to The Beach, and camellias. But above all, Frances loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Clyde she is survived by a son, Derek Tindall and his wife, Amber of Wilmington, NC; two step-daughters, Autumn Cervantez and her husband, Michael of Ft. Worth, TX and Megan Sisco and her husband, Drew of Pickens, SC; a sister, Anne Bodner and her husband, Stephen of Chapel Hill, NC; and seven grandchildren, Miles and Summer Tindall, Andrew and Laura Cervantez, and Jeremy, Madelyn, and Lillian Sisco.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Black.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, March 21, 2022 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with committal following in St. Paul's Episcopal Churchyard.
The family will receive friends prior to the service in the Parish Hall of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church starting at 1 PM.
