Frances Nix Mauldin, 82, of Meadow Ridge Rd., wife of Roy Eugene Mauldin, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born February 2, 1931 in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Maybell Lollis Ford. Mrs. Mauldin retired from Sangamo Electric Co. with over twenty five years of service. She was a longtime member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and she loved traveling and working outdoors with her flowers.
In addition to her husband of twelve years, Mrs. Mauldin is survived by her daughters, Ruth Nations (Randall), Martha Duncan and Judy Quackenbush; brother, Clyde Hammonds; sisters, Faye Stewart and Lois Smith; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Broadus D. Duncan and Floyd L. Nix; sister, Kathleen Lesley and Lura McAlister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family will be at 424 Meadow Ridge Rd., Easley, SC 29642.
