Frances M. McDaniel, of Easley, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 25, 1935, in Powdersville, SC, to the late William Herman McNeely and the late Alma Childers McNeely. She was the 11th of 13 children and the sole surviving member of her beloved siblings. She was a devoted wife of her loving, late husband, Charles Evans McDaniel.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she is reunited in Heaven by her granddaughter, Erin Elizabeth Stone; five sisters, Janie Slater, Lucia Belcher, Nettie Stegall, Betty Bryant and Catherine Ballew; seven brothers, Paul, Carl, Wesley, Roy, Tom, and Herman McNeely, Jr. and an infant brother. She leaves behind many cherished friends and extended family members, with whom she remained close throughout her life.
Frances worked for a short time at Carolina Blouse before dedicating her life to being a homemaker, where she poured her heart into raising her family. She was a proud wife of a WW II Army veteran. She loved yard work and flowers, spending countless Summer days outside in her garden, where she felt most at peace. She loved family gatherings, annual beach trips and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters, Pat Stone (Gary), Terri McDaniel and Dana Lynch (Randall); four grandchildren, Kelly Heitzman (Jonathon), Kevin Stone, Hannah Collins (Kade) and Evan McCall; one great grandchild, Callie Phillips; one great-great grandchild, Erin Gray Phillips, and her beloved dog Cooper.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with her funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel.
Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in M.J. "Dolly" Cooper, Veterans Cemetery.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends, who will carry her memory with them always.
