Frances L. McJunkin, 83, wife of the late John McJunkin, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at her home.

Born in Union County, to the late Lula Cothren and Thomas Leroy, Frances worked at Alice Manufacturing Company, Alice Plant, as a weaver, and attended the United Wesleyan Church in Easley.

Surviving are a son, William "Odis" Summers (Judy); three daughters, Alice Smith, Linda Morgan (Homer), and Mary Swafford (Jason); ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a special son-in-law, Ronnie Sparks; and a special friend, Lawrence Pittillo.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Thomas Summers; and a daughter, Janice Sparks.

Funeral services will be 3:30 P.M. Friday, January 11, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with the Reverends Tim Jones and Zane Talley officiating.

A visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:15 P.M., prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family is at the home.
