Frances Annette Snipes Pilgrim, 84, of 157 Parrott Drive and widow of Winslow Pilgrim, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at her home.

Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Irene Smith Snipes. Frances was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith.

Surviving are three sons, Roger (Wanda) Pilgrim of Pickens, Kenneth (Pat) Pilgrim of Six Mile, and Billy (Debbie) Pilgrim of Piedmont; four daughters, Shirley (Ricky) Veal and Carolyn (William) Anderson both of Six Mile, Linda (Billy) Lewis of Greenville and Annette (Ron) Baumes of Rabun Gap, GA; three brothers, Bobby Snipes of Lowell, NC, Harold and Richard Snipes both of Easley; a sister, Rachel Bryant of Liberty; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, J.R. Snipes and David Snipes; and one sister, Christine Gray.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
