Frances Lyda Seigle, 79, widow of Billy Marvin Seigle passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Frances was born in Central a daughter of the late James Franklin and Veona Berry Lyda. She was a homemaker and loved Jesus. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and traveling but she "loved, loved, loved" her grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Theresa Simon of Townville, SC and Marla McElrath and her husband, Charles of Anderson; son, Franklin Seigle of Central; brother, Donnie "Snake" Lyda and sister, Louise Bryson both of Central; grandchildren, Chris Seigle, Samantha (Richard) Wheatley, Carla (Dustin) Cullen, Kevin Lloyd, Crystal Simon and Tiffany Simon; great grandchildren, Aaron and Cameron Seigle, Sam Murphy Seigle, Cynthia Wheatley, Mason and Riley Cullen, Lynnlee and Easton Gaines, and Carter Certain; and one great-great granddaughter, London Seigle.
In addition to her husband and parents, Frances was predeceased by her brother Harold Lyda; and sisters, Linda Brown and Brenda Rhodes; and a son-in-law, Terry Simon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, March 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:50 PM, Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at her home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Cottingham Hospice House, Seneca, SC.
