Frances Bragg Sexton, 71, wife of Ernest M. Sexton, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at her home.
Born in Laurens County, Mrs. Sexton was a daughter of the late Thomas and Frances Osteen Bragg. She retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are three sons, James Carson Taylor, Jr., Tommy Joe Taylor and Gregory Sexton; four daughters, Sherry Sexton, Linda Tabor, Marline Sexton and Lisa Dawn Sexton; one brother, Donald Bragg; twenty- two grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sexton was predeceased by a son, Tony Taylor; four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be noon Friday, June 13, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
