Mrs Frances Simmons, 73, wife of Hansel John Simmons died Sunday January 28, 2007 at her residence.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle Dickard Youngblood.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Simmons is survived by: sons, Gerald "Dale" Simmons and his wife Sherrill of Easley, Wendell Jerry Simmons and his wife Melinda of Liberty; daughters, Vickie G. Gonzalez and Tabitha Wholever and her husband Jimmy all of Easley; brother, Edward Youngblood of Easley; sister, Ruth Jones of Greenville; grandchildren, Joey Simmons, Kelly Juarez, Amanda Simmons, Tiffany Simmons, Richard Mauldin, Brandon Mauldin, Tony Riddle, Michael Hubkirk, Crystal Trejo, Emily Wholever and David Wholever and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services wil be 1 PM, Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ~ Downtown with the Reverend Marty Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
