Frances Hunter Turner

Frances Hunter Turner, 91, of Willow Place, wife of the late Thomas Jack Turner, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Reverend Fred Garvin Hunter and Mattie Powell Hunter.

Mrs. Turner was retired from Southern Brick in Ninety-Six and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her brother, Garvin Hunter (Carol) of Easley; a niece, Beverly Carter of Grove City, PA; and nephews, Hunter Henderson, Stokes Hunter (Shelia) and Arden Welborn (Terry) all of Easley.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jacqueline Henderson, Benice Holder and Avenell Welborn; a brother, Roy Hunter; and a niece, Karen Henderson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. A private burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 309 Pelzer Hwy. Easley, SC 29642.

The family will be at their respective homes.
