Frances Clara Hall Underwood, 78, of 207 East 2nd Avenue, Apt. B-3, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Easley, Mrs. Underwood was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Amanda McCall Hall. She graduated from Easley High School and the nursing program at Tri-County Tech. Mrs. Underwood retired from private nursing and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Tracey Underwood of Easley; one daughter, Linda Riddle of Easley; and one sister, Rosa Lee Hall of Brevard, N.C.; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Underwood was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Underwood; and three sons, Steve, Ronnie and David Underwood.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park, where the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
