FRANK DURY BELL - Anderson

Frank Dury Bell, 85, of 109 Golden Gate Drive, husband of Bennie Dove Bell, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at his residence. A Pickens County native, he was the son of the late Floyd and Roxie Alexander Bell.

He was a dedicated retired US Navy veteran of WWII and following retirement, was a civil engineer at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base for 18 years. He was a member of High Praises Church of God in Anderson.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his nieces, Vickie Eason of Anderson and Barbara Holsonback of Mobile, AL; and a sister, Ruth Bolding of Pickens.

He was predeceased by three brothers; R.G., Melvin and Walker Bell; and one sister, Velma Clardy.

Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow with full Military Rites at Memory Gardens in Clemson. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
