Frank Clemon Chappell, 73, of Easley, husband of Joanne Turner Chappell, passed away Friday February 24, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Chappell was born in Oconee County, SC, a son of the late Garland and Nora Patterson Chappell. He was the owner and operator of Chappell and Son Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of the Bates Masonic Lodge and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Stephanie Mattos (Bob), of Easley; a son, Stephen Todd Chappell, of Marietta, SC; a granddaughter, Isabella Grace Mattos; and a sister, Bessie Littleton, of Salem, SC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, L.N. Chappell, and three sisters, Louise Holbrooks, Arvaline Crane and Ruth Crocker.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
