Frank Richard Dyar

Frankin Richard Dyar, 89, of Central, passed away on October 31, 2026. Frank was born in Pickens County to the late Arthur and Nina Dyar.

Frank worked as an appraiser for the Pickens County Tax Assessor's office. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Central and attended there faithfully.

Frank enjoyed many simple pleasures in life. He loved watching sports, especially football, and he faithfully supported Daniel High School and Clemson Football. He also enjoyed golfing and gardening; however, he was most passionate about his vegetable garden.

Frank will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew him.

Frank is survived by his sister Dorothy Johnston, many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and his longtime close friend and companion, Brenda Robison.

In addition to his parents, frank is preceded in death by his brothers, Dewitt Dyar, Joe Dyar, Woody Dyar, Larry Dyar, and David Dyar; and sister, Anne Dyar Horton.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 1:00-1:45 PM, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow visitation in the funeral home chapel starting at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
