Frank Charles Major

Frank Charles Major, 62, of 705 Cardinal Woods Way, husband of Ann Dickard Major, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born March 20, 1951 in Piedmont, he was a son of the late John and Lillie Lollis Major. Mr. Major served in the US Army and was a life time member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He retired from Michelin with thirty seven years of service and then worked for H&R Block for eleven years. Mr. Major loved sports and was a season ticket holder of the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to his wife of forty five years, he is survived by his son, Brian Major (Debra); and daughter, Angela Nease (David); brothers, Harry Major, Rev. Wayne Major and Ray Major; sisters, Betty Lou Noblitt and Vickie Allison; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2014 at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
