FRANK FRED MANLEY - Central, SC

Frank Manley, widower of Louise Haney Manley, left his home on earth for a heavenly home on Sunday, April 16, 2006, following years of declining health.

Born in Peidmont, SC, he was a son of the late John and Leila Hopkins Manley. He retired from Mt. Vernon Mills, LaFrance, SC. Prior to this, he and his wife operated several small grocery stores in the Pendleton area. He loved it when family and friends visited and ate with them, when he was on his lawn mower, and when he was washing and polishing his car or truck.

Mr. Manley was a member of the Central Church of God of Prophecy where he served as Sunday School Superintendent many times and enjoyed playing his beloved drums.

Surviving are three devoted children, two daughters; Carolyn Simpson and husband, Jack, of Tamassee; Barbara Owens of Belton; one son, Terry Frank Manley and wife, Linda, of Fountain Inn; seven grandchildren, Maurisa Lantz, Christie and Eric Lee, Angie and Brian Lemere, Darleen and Jimmy Sutton, Julie and Eric Sigmon, and Makayla and Geena Manley; seven great grandchildren, Ben Gambrell, Belle Sowell, Meredith and Molly Sutton, Olivia and Will Lee, and Gabriella Sigmon; and two sisters, Ollie May Golden of Belton and Pauline Gillespie of Seneca.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by five brothers; John, George, Bill, T.C., and Dooley; two sisters, Gertrude Kelly and Eva; and one great grandson, Trae.

The family will cherish their many fond memories of his hugs, kisses, meal blessings and deep, abiding faith in prayer.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy, c/o Bishop Lonnie Donald, 504 Lawrence Bridge Rd, Seneca, SC 29672.

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
