Frank Thomas Nimmons, 50, of 104 Rose Drive and husband of Janice Miller Nimmons died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Samuel Washington and Ruth Louise Rochester Nimmons. Frank was an auto mechanic and worked for 32 years with Country Ford in Pendleton and Fairway Ford of Anderson and Greenville. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church of Anderson and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Anderson.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Randy Lee Nimmons; daughters, Missy Lynn Nimmons and Anna Michelle Whitworth; step-sons, Craig (Renee) Kyzer of Anderson and Shane (Rina) Kyzer of Williamston; step-daughter, Kelley (Donnie) Kirby of Anderson; brothers Sammy Jerry Nimmons and Jimmy Roy Nimmons both of Pendleton; and 14 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Carl Nimmons.
Memorial services will be 2 PM, Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Anderson.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.
The family is at the home of Kelley Kirby, 1443 Airline Road, Anderson, SC 29624.
