Frank Ronald Taffer, 88, husband of the late Jo Ann Henson Taffer, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late George Washington Taffer and the late Minnie Holt Taffer, He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed origami, magic tricks, going to the lake, Clemson Football, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Crosswell First Baptist Church in Greenville.
He is survived by a son, Ronald Allen Taffer (Allison) of Easley; a daughter, Pam Knight of Easley; grandchildren, Kimberly Knight, Matthew Knight, Grant Taffer, Anna Bayne, and Daniel Taffer; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Roebers, Holden Bayne, Harper Bayne, Sutton Taffer, and Drew Taffer.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Edward Bruce Taffer and Johnny Taffer; sisters, Mildred Tollison, Viola Whitaker, Zola Simpson, Fleurdelis Hart, Flora Mac Stewart, Mary Ella Sweet, and Jerry Helen Painter; and a son-in-law, Donnie Knight.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021 in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the mausoleum, prior to the service.
