Frankie Freeman Gilstrap, 64, of 213 Vista Circle, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010, at Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Frank Freeman, Mrs. Gilstrap was a homemaker and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where she belonged to the Encouragers Sunday School Class.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Gilstrap of the home; a son, Buddy Gilstrap (Kim) of Easley; a daughter Cissy Ledford (David) of Walhalla; a brother, Jim Freeman of Florida; a sister, Betty Freeman of Lexington; four grandchildren, Cole, Cassidy and Anna Grace Gilstrap and Sydney Ledford; and three step-daughters, Sherry, Deborah and Tammy.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore and Rev. Danny Posey officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family is at the residence.
