Mr. Fred Julian Dickard, 71, of Easley, loving husband of Doan Dickard, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at his residence.

Fred was born in Anderson County on December 29, 1944 to the late Judson and Mary Leroy Dickard. He retired from J.P. Stevens Dunean plant and loved to fish, hunt, and garden. He was a family man, and was especially proud of his grandchildren and their accomplishments. Fred was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church in Easley.

In addition to his loving wife, Fred is survived by three children; Judy Moody (Tony) of Asheboro, NC; Vicki Davis (Roger) of Easley; and Jeffrey Dickard (Cindy) of Easley; his children's mother; Loretta Dickard of Easley; five siblings; Inez Hendrix of Easley; Louise Gilstrap (John) of Easley; Randall Dickard (Dyanne) of Anderson; Rev. Dr. Robert Dickard (Faye) of Anderson; and Rev. Dr. Wayne Dickard (Anita) of Easley; and five grandchildren; Justin Moody, Amanda Davis, Lauren Moody, Matthew Owen, and Mark Owen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles and Harold Dickard.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at the Funeral Home.

The family will be at the home of his son, Jeffrey; 117 Pepper Road, Easley, SC 29642.

Flowers are optional, or the family requests that memorial donations be made to Pendleton Street Baptist Church, 601 S. Pendleton Street, Easley, SC 29640.
