Fred B. Patterson, 93, husband of Jocille Landers Patterson, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at AnMed in Anderson.

Mr. Patterson was born in Danielsville, GA, and was a son of the late James L. and Cessie Simmons Patterson.  He was retired from Milliken, was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of Pendleton First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Larry Patterson and his wife, Debbie of Iva, SC; one daughter, Lynn Austin and her husband, Graham of Hickory, NC; three brothers, Randolph Patterson of Seneca, Lewis Patterson of Anderson, and Wilton Patterson of Pendleton; two sisters, Peggy Bibb and Wilma Sanders, both of Fair Play;  two grandchildren Jody Kirk and Gena Hawkins and her husband Joey; four great grandchildren, Brett, Ike, Hunter, and Lagen Hawkins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Pendleton First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
