Fred Smith Jr., 67, of 1054 Church Street and husband of Barbara Taylor Smith, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Fred Smith Sr. and Mary Rogers Smith.
He was a retired employee with Central Textiles and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Robert Brian Smith and Anthony Andrew Smith both of Central; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM, Friday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Robert Smith, 115 McAlister Street, Central, SC 29630.
