Fred Ascue Steele, Jr., 70, of 102 Garlington Court, passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Steele was born in Lexington, Virginia, a son of the late Fred A. Steele, Sr. and Teresa Hughes Steele. He retired from Virginia Power Company and was a Catholic.
Surviving are his son, Fred A. Steele, III and his wife, Tonja, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a daughter, Brandy Steele Oates, of Westminster, SC; three sisters, Sarah Anderson, of Florida, Maxine Hickman, of Pennsylvania and Olivia Falls, of Virginia; a grandson, Riley Steele, of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
